       Thanks for shopping at Antiques And Teacups. We are a husband and wife team. John began a 6 year apprenticeship in England at the age of 15 as a diamond setter and worked in the jewelry industry for 38 years until his retirement because of an injury. Ruth has a love for antiques, collectibles and victoriana that began when her English grandmother gave her her teapot and teacups for her 16th birthday.

   We are members of the Antique and Collectible Dealers Association; the USA, UK and Australian Shelley China Societies, The Torquay Pottery Society and the Transferware Collectors Society.

     Our mission is to provide the best customer service possible with quality items, fast shipping and outstanding communication.

My son received the package, thank you.  You seem like conscientious people.  If you believe that you can get a feel for people through the internet, I think that is my experience with you. 
  I teased my son that now he can have his wife serve him tea with toast and jam for his birthday.  She lived in England during her teen years and has memories of such things.  We took a trip on a barge, that we piloted ourselves, down the Thames when my son was still small. Had a great time.

Dear Ruth and John, I want to thank you for the quality and honesty with which you treat your customers.  I just received a cup from another vendor that was in "Excellent Condition".  Well, to say the least, it wasn't.  Just to explain a little, I purchased a cup from two different vendors along with my initial order to you.  From the get go, everything from customer service, to knowledge, etc., with you was exceptional.  The aforementioned vendor, I will never purchase from again.  The third vendor did one half the order well, and I'm still waiting on the second half with uncertainty.  This is not good.  So, again, thank you, it's a real pleasure to do busines with you.  Sincerely, Ruth F
